Bulk Cable Service Instructions

TVThe association currently provides High Definition (HD) bulk cable services for the membership.  The new association bulk HD service will activate automatically on 1 August 2018.

Below are the terms of the bulk service agreement provided by Comcast:

  1. Comcast will provide bulk HD Service to 2‌‪‌ outlet(s) in each of the 133 homes within the association.
  2. Click here to see the bulk service channel lineup.  This is subject to change from time to time at the discretion of Comcast.
  3. The Association‌‪‌ acknowledges and understands that an HD digital receiver is required to receive the Bulk Service.
    •  Comcast shall provide each resident with:
      • 1‌‪‌ digital receiver(s) and 1‌‪‌ remote control(s) (capable of two way communication)
      • 1‌‪‌ digital adapter(s) and 1‌‪‌ remote control(s).  (Not capable of two way communication)
  4. Any homeowner that desires to have additional equipment or services shall be required to enter into a separate agreement with Comcast accepting responsibility for the digital receiver(s), digital adapter(s), remotes and any services purchased which are addition to the Bulk Service.
    • Extra digital boxes will cost an additional $9.95 each as of 1 August 2018.
  5. If a homeowner is already receiving HD services from Comcast, Comcast will automatically remove the costs of these services from the homeowners account the month following the association bulk service upgrade. (1 August 2018).
  6. If a homeowner does not currently have HD equipment from Comcast, the homeowner may upgrade their standard definition equipment to HD equipment at the local Xfinity Store or request a self-install kit to be mailed out to they by calling the Comcast Bulk Service Call Center at 1-855-638-2855 after 1 August 2018.

Instructions for Existing Homeowners:
Step 1: Pack up all Standard Definition (non-HD) receiver boxes in your home and return them (with the remotes) to the Local Comcast Xfinity Store.

Step 2:  Pickup the new HD capable digital Receiver Box and Digital Adapter Box from the local Comcast Xfinity Store. Ensure the proper cabling and remotes are also included.

Step 3:  Follow the instillation instructions that come with your new HD equipment.  The service will be received automatically on 1 Aug 2018.

Step 4:  If members would like a service technician to come out and install the digital boxes, you may contact the Comcast Bulk Call Center at 1-855-638-2855.  There is a service fee of $40.00 for a technician to visit your home.

Instructions for New Homeowners:
Step 1: Contact the Comcast Bulk Call Center at 1-855-638-2855 at setup an account.  Your new address is linked to the association bulk service agreement.

Step 2: Travel to the local Xfinity store and pickup an HD capable digital Receiver Box and Digital Adapter Box.  Ensure the proper cabling and remotes are also included.
